All of our staff are fully qualified teachers with extensive experience supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). They’ve worked across both mainstream and specialist school environments, and bring a deep understanding of inclusive teaching strategies tailored to a wide range of learning profiles.
We’re also committed to ongoing professional development. Our staff regularly engage in training to stay up to date with the latest SEND guidance, therapeutic approaches, and evidence-based interventions. We can offer the highest quality support in a rapidly evolving educational landscape.
-
Yes, absolutely. Every child we support is assigned a dedicated teacher who takes the time to understand their unique needs, strengths, and learning style. This consistent relationship helps build trust, reduce anxiety, and create a stable foundation for progress.
Our teachers work closely with families and other professionals to ensure that each child’s education is personalised, responsive, and emotionally supportive.
-
Yes. We work in partnership with mainstream schools to support children whose needs make it difficult for them to fully access learning in the classroom. Our teachers provide one‑to‑one support focused on sensory regulation, early communication, engagement with peers, and developing key skills such as turn‑taking and shared attention.
This helps the student participate meaningfully in the school day while a suitable specialist placement is being identified. Once an appropriate school place is confirmed, we work closely with the family, the current school, and the new setting to ensure a smooth and well‑supported transition.
-
Yes. We provide personalised 1:1 tuition in the comfort of your home, tailored to your child’s specific needs. This approach helps reduce anxiety and allows learning to happen in a familiar, safe environment.
-
Yes. We work with children and young people who have been excluded or are unable to attend school, providing personalised one‑to‑one education in the home or community. Our teachers focus on helping students re‑engage with learning in a way that feels safe, manageable, and meaningful.
We support students to develop emotional awareness, strategies for coping during times of overwhelm, and greater self‑confidence. As students begin to feel more secure and motivated, we work with them to explore their aspirations and identify the steps needed to achieve them.
Where appropriate, we also support learners to work towards recognised qualifications, including Functional Skills, vocational awards, and AQA Unit Awards.
Our aim is to provide stability, rebuild trust in learning, and prepare each student for their next step, whether that’s returning to education, moving to a specialist setting, or progressing towards future goals.
-
Yes. Many of the children we work with have experienced gaps in education. We take a gentle, trauma-informed approach to reintroduce learning at a pace that suits them, with a focus on rebuilding confidence and routine.
-
We don’t operate from a fixed base or centre. Instead, we deliver education directly within the child’s home or, in some cases, within a school setting.
When working in schools, we’re typically commissioned as specialist providers by the school itself or by the Local Authority, often when the school has identified that it cannot fully meet a child’s needs through its existing resources. In these cases, we work closely with school staff, families, and other professionals to provide tailored 1:1 support that complements the child’s wider educational provision and aligns with their EHCP outcomes.
This flexible model allows us to meet each child in the environment that best supports their learning, wellbeing, and progress.
-
We begin with an initial consultation to enable us to understand your child’s strengths, challenges, and interests. Lessons are then designed to be engaging, flexible, and responsive to their evolving needs.
-
Yes. Our teaching aligns with your child’s EHCP targets. We are happy to contribute to reviews and reports as needed.
-
We’re experienced in working with children who find learning difficult or overwhelming. Our tutors use strategies to build trust, reduce pressure, and adapt sessions to meet your child where they are.

Safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do. We follow strict safer‑recruitment practices to ensure all teachers are suitable and safe to work with children. This includes Enhanced DBS checks for every member of staff, verification of identity documents such as passports and driving licences, confirmation of teaching qualifications, and thorough reference checks.
We have a robust safeguarding policy that guides our practice, and all staff complete safeguarding training at least annually, with additional specialist courses undertaken where appropriate. Our team includes two Designated Safeguarding Leads who oversee safeguarding practice and provide guidance and support.
We work closely with other professionals involved in each child’s care, maintaining open communication to ensure a joined‑up, consistent approach to keeping children safe and well supported.
